Excellence Ordin Bedri Hamdogn, a distinguished leader and prominent figure in Ethiopian politics, currently holds the esteemed positions of President of Harari National Regional State and Mayor of Harar. With a wealth of leadership experience, Ordin is a key member of the Ethiopian Prosperity Party, serving on the Executive Committee of the party and as a Member of the regional council of Harari region.

Educationally, Ordin pursued a BA in Pedagogical Science at Bahir Dar University, showcasing his commitment to educational development. His academic journey continued with a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Haramaya University, reflecting his dedication to honing leadership skills for the benefit of his community.

Since 2019, Ordin has been at the helm as the President of Harari National Regional State and Mayor of Harar, guiding the region with vision and dedication. Prior to his current roles, he served as the Head of Culture and Tourism Bureau from 2018 to 2019, Head of the President’s Office from 2016 to 2018, and Dean of Harar Teacher’s Education and Business College from 2012 to 2016.
